The new service is increasing the coverage of NYNEX’s maritime communication network.
You can access the network by using a 60cm or larger 3 axis stabilized antenna for maritime or a fixed VSAT antenna across Europe.
The satellite is in GEO orbit at 12.5° West for excellent line of sight and elevation angle. Satellite is operated by Eutelsat and NYNEX is operating and uplinking the signal from its Groundstation in Germany which is directly connected to DE.CIX with direct peering to all major ISPs or content providers.
