Network

One network across fibre, teleports and satellite: every connection converges in our own autonomous system. You get the same addressing, the same monitoring and the same point of contact – however a site is connected.

01 Architecture

How the NYNEX network is built.

From the internet via the core in Darmstadt to our teleports in Usingen, Ruppichteroth, Perl, Ottobrunn and Cyprus, and from there on to the satellites – and in parallel via fibre to business sites.

NYNEX network architecture The internet connects via upstreams and peering to the NYNEX core in Darmstadt – the Network Operations Centre (NOC) of autonomous system AS62023. From the core, fibre lines run to business sites in Germany and backbone links run to teleports and hubs. From there, uplinks reach satellites in Ku and Ka band, which serve sites in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and at sea.
